Paul simply wanted to create, “ the best boutique hotel outside of London. It is quieter and more peaceful than the Hoste ,  you take breakfast at the main hotel or a hamper with continental breakfast can be served in your room, and of course can benefit from all the facilities that the Hoste can offer, including fabulous innovative dining using the best local ingredients.”

Vine House is extra special, it has a Butler service in the early evenings , a cosy study with glossy magazines and coffee table books, and a drawing room that is available for small private events and meetings. Guests can order champagne, handmade chocolates and flowers to add a touch of romance, and coffee, tea and drinks and canapés are available to order.
